We’ve updated our popular TOURING THE MAJORS® poster, just in time for you to give it to the baseball fan in your life for Christmas!
It’s hot off the presses! The poster is updated with a graphic of the new Texas Rangers retractable-roof stadium that opens on March 31, 2020, as well as 20+ changes to the reference tables in the bottom left-hand corner. Here you can learn each ballpark’s seating capacity, year opened and dimensions.
Plus the poster includes a brand-new feature: baseball landmarks! By popular demand, the updated edition shows the locations of some of America’s best-known attractions, like Cooperstown’s Hall of Fame, Dyersville, Iowa’s Field of Dreams movie site (where MLB will be playing a regular-season game in August 2020), the Jackie Robinson Museum that opens shortly in Manhattan, Denver’s National Ballpark Museum, Williamsport, PA’s Little League World Series, the Negro Leagues Museum in KC and Omaha’s College World Series.
Even with all of these additions, there’s no increase in the price: it’s still just $19.95, plus shipping. If you want it autographed by publisher Joe Mock, that can be done for free.
It’s available now, so place your order right away!
Every year as the World Series is about to begin, we post a comparison of the two ballparks. We look at location, seating capacity, the “ballpark factors” popularized by ESPN, and more.
We were given an exclusive tour of the construction site of Globe Life Field, the retractable-roof ballpark that the Texas Rangers will occupy in March 2020. At this point, the project is more than 80% compete, which let us get a really good feel for how the finished product will look.
Even if you’re not a Rangers fan, you’ll want to check out our photo essay on the final game at Arlington’s Globe Life Park.
