There’s no doubt about it. Baseball fans love the Touring the Majors® Poster, making it the #1 selling item ever on our site. But when the Texas Rangers moved out of Globe Life Park and several other parks went through changes in their name and outfield dimensions, it was time to release a new edition. So we went to work and made over two dozen changes, including a brand-new graphic for the Rangers’ new Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas and completely updated reference information in the tables in the left-hand corner.
And then we added a brand-new feature to this updated edition: Baseball Landmarks. The new version of the poster shows the locations of some of the best known baseball attractions around the country: the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown; the Negro Leagues Museum in Kansas City; the new Jackie Robinson Museum in New York City; the Field of Dreams movie site (where MLB played two regular-season games); the National Ballpark Museum in Denver and the locations of the World Series for Little League and College.
What didn’t change, though, was the spectacular color scheme, including the background that looks like the mown outfield at a big-league ballpark (hint: the grass in states with a Major League team is slightly darker). We again used special inks, heavyweight paper, and a special finishing technique to give it an exceptional look and feel.
