Touring the Majors Poster

It’s like taking a tour of MLB’s ballparks!

There’s no doubt about it. Baseball fans love the Touring the Majors® Poster, making it the #1 selling item ever on our site. The first four editions we published (in 2007, 2010, 2014 and 2017) sold very well at both online and bricks-and-mortar retailers — including the store in the Baseball Hall of Fame!

But when the Texas Rangers moved out of Globe Life Park and several other parks went through changes in their name and outfield dimensions, it was time to release a new edition. So we went to work and made over two dozen changes, including a brand-new graphic for the Rangers’ new Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas and completely updated reference information in the tables in the left-hand corner.

And then we added a brand-new feature to this updated edition:  Baseball Landmarks. The new version of the poster shows the locations of some of the best known baseball attractions around the country: the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown; the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City; the new Jackie Robinson Museum in New York City; the Field of Dreams movie site (where MLB played two regular-season games, and will return in August 2026); the National Ballpark Museum in Denver and the locations of the World Series for Little League and College.

What didn’t change, though, was the spectacular color scheme, including the background that looks like the mown outfield at a big-league ballpark (hint: the grass in states with a Major League team is slightly darker). We again used special inks, heavyweight paper, and a special finishing technique to give it an exceptional look and feel. With the Touring the Majors® Poster on your wall, you’ll feel like you are indeed on a tour of the Major Leagues!

Note that we are again donating proceeds from the sale of this poster to support the outstanding work of the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation that funds baseball in inner cities. Please consider making your own donation to this worthy cause.

As mentioned above, the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown liked this poster enough to offer it for sale in its gift shop … but you don’t have to travel to New York State to buy it! You can order it right here — plus it can be autographed!

This poster couldn’t be a better gift for a baseball fan, young or old. It’s informative, colorful and fun. If you know someone who wants to visit all 30 big-league parks, this is the present for them!

About our Store

We couldn't be more proud of our new book on Rickwood Field, America's Oldest Ballpark. Check out Rickwood -- How America's Oldest Ballpark Forged Baseball's Legends. This is one of the very few places where you can get an autographed copy!

The most popular item ever sold on BaseballParks.com is our beautiful Touring the Majors poster. It makes a wonderful gift for a baseball fan!

Even a quarter century after I wrote it, I still receive inquiries about my book on the 30 ballparks of big-league baseball (probably because they ran across it on Amazon from a used-bookstore's listing it for an astronomical amount of money!). If you'd like to buy a copy for your collection for a lot less money than one of those bookstores is charging, buy Joe Mock's Ballpark Guide here. Yes, after 25 years it's obsolete, but it's a lot of fun to read!

What's wrong with baseball, and how can it be fixed? Check out Saving Baseball from Itself, a thought-provoking book for the thinking baseball fan.

If you're interested in a ballcap or t-shirt with the logo of our book Rickwood, check out the online store of our publisher Stoney Creek Publishing. Lots of cool merch there!
